Vous souhaitez apprendre à restaurer une forêt indigène en tant que solution fondée sur la nature? Rejoignez-nous pour ce cours de 4 jours financé par le Fonds de partenariat pour les écosystèmes critiques (CEPF) et découvrez quelles activités peuvent aider à restaurer les forêts en tant que solution fondée sur la nature, comment commencer et quoi surveiller. Réalisez la zonation et l’évaluation du site, identifiez le type de forêt, reconnaissez les limites et obstacles et apprenez à les surmonter, choisissez des techniques de restauration forestière appropriées, comprenez l'approche de restauration à l'échelle du paysage, gérez les zones boisées des bassins versants, utilisez les espèces adaptées à la plantation, assurez le suivi après plantation et apprenez à évaluer vos activités de restauration.
Le cours est destiné aux personnes intéressées ou travaillant dans la gestion forestière et l'adaptation au changement climatique, qu'elles soient juste sorties de l'école ou de l'université, ou qu'elles travaillent pour des ONG de conservation ou le secteur privé. La priorité sera donnée aux personnes travaillant dans le domaine de la conservation, notre objectif étant de renforcer les capacités locales.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in choosing the right substrate for propagation, cleaning seeds, checking seed fertility, preparing seed beds, bags for potting, and potting mixture, seed sowing, taking cuttings and air layering, plant aftercare and learn how to manage a nursery.
