We have this fantastic ocean surrounding our beautiful island, why not enjoy and protect this treasure of ours. We offer programs to learn about coral recognition, restoration, preservation, and have one of the best and amazing underwater photographers, Gerald Rambert in house.

Coral reefs all over the world are dying. We have 150 km of reef around the coast of Mauritius, with about 90 species of hard corals. Coral reefs protect our coastlines and provide shelter and habitats for many marine organisms. Lets put our energy in saving the little reef that is left around our beautiful island. I feel very fortunate to have participated in the workshop "Leaders in Coral Restoration " in Seychelles last year.
Our coral reefs are dying, it's a fact ... but as you can see and hear in this documentary it is POSSIBLE to restore and preserve coral reefs. Mauritius has the people and the potential to instore such projects ... Sundivers already started an e-learning program on coral identification, restoration, and preservation. A certified e-learning program created for individuals, families, team building, children, divers, and non-divers.
