Fuvahmulah Hospital is honored to receive this Appreciation Award from the Maritime Training Institute (MTI) in recognition of our support and assistance during the First Aid Drill conducted for the Niyami 1 Batch on 14 June 2026.

We sincerely thank MTI for this recognition and look forward to continuing our collaboration in promoting safety, emergency preparedness, and community well-being.

As part of their country visit, Dr. Nalika Gunawardena, WHO SEARO Regional Advisor for Noncommunicable Diseases (NCDs), and Dr. Pradeep Joshi, WHO Technical Officer for NCDs, met with the senior management of Fuvahmulah Hospital.

The discussion focused on the current status of NCD services and opportunities to further strengthen prevention, treatment, and management of NCDs in the community.

We thank the WHO team for their valuable support and guidance in improving healthcare services.
