From 03rd-04th October 2025, we held the "Magey Saafu Raajje" island waste management center planning workshop for V. Fulidhoo. This event was part of the Greater Malé Environmental Improvement and Waste management Project, which is managed by the Ministry of Tourism and Environment, Maldives. ADB as part of their current ongoing project review mission together with a senior staff team from the Ministry of Tourism and Environment vists Thilafushi waste management facility. The mission observed the facility operations by WAMCO and discussed maitenance of the critical infrastructure developed under its grant finance and the Government of the Maldives.
