Maldives Institute of Local Governance

Day 1 of the "Training on Finance and Procurement" for GA. Gemanafushi Council, held from 24-24 June 2026. First day's sessions focused on strengthening participants’ understanding of public finance management and procurement practices within local councils.

From the opening ceremony of the 11th batch of Capacity Building & Training program for Local Council members, WDC members, and Local Government Authority staff, in Hyderabad, India from 21 June to 6 July 2026, under the MoU signed between LGA and NIRD&PR.

A total of 27 participants from island councils took part in this training program.
