The two Ministers discussed key issues of mutual interest and exchanged views on regional and international developments.

Foreign Minister Iruthisham Adam had a virtual meeting with the Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, Hon. Seema Malhotra, today.

Discussions focused on strengthening cooperation in the areas of mutual importance in the years ahead.

The Maldives delegation headed by High Commissioner of Maldives to India, Aishath Azeema attended the opening ceremony of IORA’s 28th Committee of Senior Officials.

The meeting will span over 2 days and discuss the sustainable development of the Indian Ocean Region.
