National Centre for the Holy Quran

This Centre is entrusted with the task of educating the population of Maldives with Quranic knowledge and sciences.

Centre for the Holy Quran was opened by the President of Maldives on 22nd December 2000. The Centre is entrusted with the task of educating the population of this nation with Quranic knowledge and sciences. Currently more than 2500 students are studying in the Centre and its affiliated Centres. The Centre is under the auspices of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs.
