As I have constantly said, I am not returning for any personal benefits or glory. I have achieved all there is. My return, however, is premised on one simple objective: redeem our nation. As a Malawian who has been there in all the important junctures of our history, it pains me to see the current state of our country. This is not the Malawi we fought for at independence, nor in 1993.

This election is one in which we battle for the soul of Malawi and it is only APM partnering with Justice Dr Jane Ansah, SC, together with our able partners that have the capacity of rescuing it.

I will be launching a digital campaign here in which I will be sharing some of our commitments to Malawians in our manifesto. Please, stay tuned and amplify the message. Remember it is your vote that has the capacity to make Malawi better. Be responsible with it, do not put it to waste, vote for APM.

When the supply is low, the demand is high. The price is high.

Chimanga chikudula chifukwa production is costing a lot. Akulima ndi mabwana. The price of fertilizer is too high and it has booted our small scale farmers out of business. Don't say alimi sakuvutika kugula fertilizer chifukwa chakuti maize is fetching high prices no!. In fact, stable food should not be taken as a business within the country unless exported. You will kill your people. When the price of stable food is high, the economy is negatively affected. Here in malawi, maize is our main stable grain 🌾. Mitengo ya chimanga affects the whole economy, inflation is high when the food is not available. So to make point straight, chimanga chakwera chifukwa chikuvuta kulima, akulima ndi wochepa , anthu wamba akulephera kugula fertilizer.
