Thank you, Councilor George Bitzas , for your leadership in introducing the resolution to eliminate state income taxes on tips and overtime pay. Your efforts put the needs of local workers and families first by fighting to put more money directly back into their pockets.

A big thank you to City Councilor Peter McNair and the residents of Agawam! 👏

It takes a community to protect the places we call home, and we are so grateful for leaders and neighbors who stand up for our local environment. Councilor McNair recently highlighted a critical issue in The Republican regarding the environmental crisis facing the Connecticut River after heavy rains:"We deserve a river that is safe to swim, fish and boat in—not a public health hazard." — City Councilor Peter McNair"The river has potential to be a major recreational source to our local area. We can no longer treat our river like an open drain."

Fixing our aging wastewater infrastructure in Agawam and surrounding communities like Springfield, Chicopee, and Holyoke isn't just an option—it's essential for our health, safety, and community future.
