Bridging Nations. Building Partnerships. Creating Opportunities 🌎🤝
Honoured and proud to be a Delegate at BRICS -ASEAN Business Round Table, the Strategic Round Table Multilateral Dialogue held on 23 August 2026 at Mines Beach Resort.
Being part of a room filled with 110 delegates — diplomats, government representatives, corporate leaders, trade commissioners and policymakers from India, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, UAE, Singapore, Cambodia, Russia, Mauritius, Türkiye, China and Thailand — was truly an enriching experience.
The dialogue focused on strengthening the bridge between BRICS and ASEAN, with meaningful discussions on trade, investment, economic development, technology and strategic partnerships.
What stood out to me were the five key resolutions, particularly the vision of creating an AI-enabled digital trading platform, connecting international companies and startups with Malaysian businesses, strengthening accreditation and validation initiatives, and promoting Halal through the wider principles of health, hygiene, food safety and sustainable food production.
For me, this was more than just attending an event. It was an opportunity to listen, learn, connect and represent the voice of our community on a wider platform.
I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of conversations that bring people, businesses and nations closer together.
