UTM Researcher published in Nature on slipknot for surgical suturing!
Sometimes innovation comes from rethinking the simplest things. UTM researcher Dr. Tuck Whye Wong co authored a Nature study showing how a carefully designed slipknot can help surgeons achieve safer and more consistent suturing without sensors or power. Peranan itu dimainkan oleh Pasukan Inovasi Sosial, Fakulti Kejuruteraan Mekanikal (FKM), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), yang menjadi tunjang kepada kejayaan sekumpulan pelajar dari Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Tan Sri Mohamad Rahmat, Johor meraih tiga anugerah antarabangsa di Seoul, Korea Selatan.
