The Malaysia government has clearly stated in the Construction Industry Act 520 that building materials entering Malaysia for sale and use must undergo product testing process through laboratory reports or certification from accredited certification bodies recognized by CIDB in order to obtain the Certificate of Approval (C.O.A.) and the product qualification certificate (P.P.S.i) issued by CIDB.✅
However, these steps are often being skipped or done incorrectly, leading to unnecessary time and financial losses when the products are inspected.
