GEARING UP FOR ISEE 2027 IN SABAH! 🔥

​Last night, the SCB team hosted a dinner at Hyatt Regency Kota Kinabalu for Toronto-based Conference Manager Ms. Erica. On her first-ever visit to Asia, SCB was proud to handle her ground hosting—coordinating venue site inspections and connecting her with local vendors from 14 Sept 2026 to 17 Sept 2026, for the upcoming 39th Annual Conference of the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology (ISEE 2027).

​Yesterday was all about building strong partnerships for Sabah’s business events sector!

The SCB team hosted three strategic visits at our office, beginning the morning at 10:00am with the Sabah Lo Clan Association to discuss their upcoming convention. This was followed by an insightful session at 2:30pm focused on academic conference planning with representatives from the Borneo Librarians Conference at Universiti Malaysia Sabah.

The afternoon concluded at 3:30pm by strengthening destination synergies with Tourism Malaysia Sabah in preparation for the upcoming B2B program in Johor.

From local association support to nationwide tourism alignment, we are driving big moves under "Sabah: The State of BEing"!-:BR

A productive start to the week for Sabah Convention Bureau (SCB) as we welcomed industry partners for a series of courtesy visits and strategic discussions focused on strengthening partnerships and bringing more business events to Sabah.

The morning began with the management team of Promenade Hotels & Resort, where discussions centred on collaborative opportunities, upcoming delegate arrivals and enhancing Kota Kinabalu’s hospitality offerings.

In the afternoon, SCB held a meeting with representatives from JCI Malaysia to discuss the conference bidding process. The discussions included potential support to position Sabah as the host destination.

The day concluded with a visit from the Hyatt Regency Kinabalu team, exploring venue collaboration and opportunities to create seamless and memorable experiences for future delegates.

These engagements reflect SCB’s continued commitment to connecting industry stakeholders, strengthening Sabah’s business events ecosystem and bringing the vision of “Sabah: The State of BEing — Where Business is Truly Present” to life.-:BR
