OYO STATE COVID-19 TASK FORCE UPDATE (for July 05, 2020)

1. The COVID-19 confirmation tests for forty-seven suspected cases came back POSITIVE. The cases are from Ibadan North (14), Egbeda (7), Ibadan South West (7), Akinyele (6), Oluyole (3), Ibadan North West (2), Lagelu (2), Ido (2), Ibadan South East (2), Oyo East (1) and Ona Ara (1) Local Government Areas. So, the total number of confirmed cases in Oyo State today is 1513.

2. Sadly, the test results of five suspected cases who passed away in the month of June, 2020, came back positive. So, the total number of COVID-19 related deaths in Oyo State is nineteen.
