A Commissioner for Oaths in Malaysia is a person who has been authorized by the Malaysian legal authorities to ensure that declarations, such as affidavits, legal documents, and other statutory declarations from an individual are verifiable and legally compliant. The Commissioner for Oaths verifies these documents for use in Malaysia. A Commissioner for Oaths is also empowered to administer an affirmation, oath, or other declaration. It is important to note that, for use in a court in Malaysia or any other quasi-judicial agency or tribunal, your oath or affirmation can only be administered by a Commissioner for Oaths.

IMPORTANT ⚠️‼️:

The person whose signature is required on the Statutory Declaration (SD), Affidavit or any other document HAS TO and MUST meet in person with the Commissioner and take the oath or make the solemnly declaration in front of the Commissioner. The document must be signed infront of the Commissioner and the signatory's signature is compulsorily required in the Commissioner's Registered Book!

There is absolutely no shortcut to this process.
