Assalamualaikum and greetings dear friends of KitaJagaLife.

We are at day 3 of the Iftar program in Kampala,Uganda. Since our fund collection started last Friday, we have managed to raise RM3,130 out of the RM13,360 needed for the last 10 days of Ramadhan, Alhamdulillah, thanks to our kind donors.

With the barakah an blessings of the contribution, the jamaah at the mosque in Kasokoso were able to enjoy meat for the 1st time this Ramadhan. Let's do our bit to make iftar more delightful for the men, women & children in Uganda🤲🏻

Alhamdulillah with the Grace of Allah Ta'ala, KitaJagaLife is bringing you an opportunity to extend your sadaqa jariah to our Muslim brothers and sisters in Kampala, Uganda. Dr.Adam Musa, a PhD graduate from IIUM has suggested the collaboration, to ease some of the funding effort needed for Iftar sessions here in 'kampung' Kasoko, Kireka, Kampala.

'Sepiki' , the huge big pot seen in the video/photos is used to prepare 30kg worth of food. Leading to Maghrib, the jam'aah is served with Ugandan porridge (in the colourful plastic cups).

The breakdown as below for 150pax
(Ugandan Shilling- UgX)

1. Beef 20kg*20000=400000
2.37.5 kg* 5000=187500
3. Tomatoes* 15,000
4. Onions* 15000
5. Pilau Masala 5000
6. Cooking oil* 21/2 litre 20000/=
7. Salt*2000
8. Milk 5litre * 10,000
9. Water carton 12 *60,000
Total per day: 712,500UgX
Total per day: RM890.627

Remaining Ramadhan days: 15 days
RM13,359.41

Any excess will be donated to the mosque in 'Kampung' Kasoko where this cooking and iftar is taking place for use in Eid or any other mosque related costs.
