RAC Renewable Energy Initiative: Unlocking Commercial Value through Solar PV & Large-Scale Solar (LSS)

RAC PERKUKUH KERJASAMA STRATEGIK TOD DAN LOGISTIK

KUALA LUMPUR, 21 Oktober 2026 - Perbadanan Aset Keretapi (RAC) memperkukuh usaha mengoptimumkan aset kereta api melalui pertukaran dua dokumen kerjasama strategik sempena Transport Expo Asia (TXA) 2026 di MITEC, Kuala Lumpur.

Memorandum Persefahaman (MOU) antara RAC dengan JLG Investment Holdings Sdn. Bhd. (JLG) bertujuan meneroka kebolehlaksanaan pembangunan Stesen Keretapi Larkin baharu yang diintegrasikan dengan pembangunan berorientasikan transit (TOD) di Arena Larkin, Johor Bahru. Kerjasama selama dua tahun ini merangkumi kajian pasaran, penyediaan pelan induk serta penilaian teknikal, komersial, kewangan dan perundangan.

Pertukaran dokumen MOU disempurnakan oleh YBhg. Dato’ Azhar Ahmad, Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif RAC, dan YBhg. Datuk Sr. Akmal bin Ahmad, Pengarah Urusan Kumpulan JLG.

Sementara itu, Memorandum Perjanjian (MOA) antara anak syarikat RAC, Railway Assets Holding Sdn. Bhd. (RAHSB), dengan Perlis Inland Port Sdn. Bhd. bertujuan meneroka kerjasama pengangkutan rel, pengendalian kargo dan perkhidmatan logistik bernilai tambah. Kerjasama ini berpotensi memperkukuh pergerakan kargo rentas sempadan Malaysia - Thailand serta kesalinghubungan antara rangkaian rel dengan kemudahan logistik multimodal.

Pertukaran dokumen MOA melibatkan YBhg. Dato’ Azhar Ahmad bagi pihak RAHSB dan YBrs. Encik Wan Ahmad Zaheed Wan Mohamad, Pengarah Urusan dan Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Perlis Inland Port Sdn. Bhd.

Kedua-dua pertukaran dokumen disaksikan oleh YB Loke Siew F**k, Menteri Pengangkutan.
