Kuala Lumpur Tower in Malaysia was lit up in red for World Heart Day 2026 🇲🇾❤️

Observed every September 29, the day raises awareness about heart health, cardiovascular health and the importance of taking care of our hearts.

The moon’s orange glow happened to match the red illumination of KL Tower perfectly too!

Happy World Heart Day 2026! ✨

You can't fly a drone in this capital city... but you can still get these amazing views from above! 🇲🇾

Most people go to Kuala Lumpur, but not far from the airport lies a beautiful city.

This is Putrajaya, Malaysia's administrative capital, known for its grand government buildings, iconic bridges and beautiful cityscape.

I actually booked this spot last year to photograph the Merdeka fireworks, but the haze caused all the fireworks displays in the city to be cancelled.

But hey, might as well make the most of it and shoot some of Putrajaya's beautiful night views instead!

Would you make the trip to Putrajaya for views like this?

WATCH MERDEKA 118 TRANSFORM FROM SUNSET TO NIGHT! 🌅🌃

Scroll to see 7 different looks, from sunset through the evening to nighttime, as Merdeka 118 goes from a glowing blue facade to the colours of the Jalur Gemilang. 🇲🇾

One of my favourite spots to photograph the world’s 2nd-tallest tower, with the roads naturally forming leading lines towards it. 📸

Want to capture this view for yourself once the haze clears? Check out the location on the last slide! 📍

Happy 63rd birthday, Malaysia! 🇲🇾

Today is Malaysia Day, commemorating the day Malaya, Sabah (then North Borneo), Sarawak, and Singapore came together to form Malaysia in 1963.

To mark the occasion, here's a photo I took last year of the Petronas Twin Towers lit up in the colours of our national flag, the Jalur Gemilang.

But that's not all, you can also see Genting Highlands very clearly above the famous towers!

The clear weather that day is definitely a far cry from the hazy skies we're facing right now. Sure hope it clears up soon!

Thanks Wil Son | Landscape Photographer 🇲🇾 for inviting me to capture this amazing view together!

🇲🇾 Kuala Lumpur at Blue Hour From Different Perspectives. ✨

While waiting for the clouds over Genting Highlands to clear, I took the chance to capture different views of the Kuala Lumpur skyline during blue hour.

Most people know KL for its famous Big Four towers, but there are plenty of other impressive buildings around the city that don’t get as much attention.

From busy city areas to new developments, these views show a different side of Kuala Lumpur’s ever-changing skyline.
