Apical brought Medanlicious, a culinary event, to Medan, North Sumatra, in March 2026, inviting visitors to explore how quality ingredients influence texture, stability, and flavour consistency.
The event featured interactive booths, children’s cake decorating competitions, workshops, and live cooking by professional chefs, creating an engaging and educational experience.

Apical is committed to supporting education and nurturing literacy in communities around our operations. During the holy month of Ramadan, we brought this commitment to life by supporting the Ramadan Literacy Festival at SDN 03 Marunda, North Jakarta.
The festival brought together 45 students from Grades 1 to 5, creating a space for them to share their Ramadan experiences. Through this activity, students expressed creativity, built confidence, and strengthened their literacy skills.

Apical, in partnership with Earthworm Foundation, is continuing the Sustainable Living Village programme in four villages in East Kutai, East Kalimantan. The programme strengthens community resilience through environmental restoration and livelihood support. This includes planting 30,000 trees and guiding farmers to diversify income through cacao cultivation.
With direct participation from villagers, including members of the Sempekat Benderang Farmers Group, the initiative aims to deliver long-term ecological and economic benefits for the community.
