Alhamdulillah, had the opportunity to represent the company at a partnering event organised by Bioeconomy Corporation in Jakarta. I had a great chance to meet and mingle with different people from industries from Indonesia and listening to talks by their regulators on their plans for healthcare.

This was my first time to Jakarta. I must say, it is such a lively and vibrant city. For many more future collaborations in the healthcare industry between the two countries. Kita kan serumpun.

Sometimes my work can be hard, sometimes I feel demotivated to work. But then someone like Alex came along to remind me why I do this work.

Alex is an Australian from Melbourne with end-stage colorectal cancer. He came to us with a prognosis of 3 months left to live.

We gave him allogenic NK cells. After 2 months of almost a daily dose of 100 million NK cells, he went for a PET scan and the doctor told him he was free of cancer.

It’s been almost a year now, Alex is still alive and well. You can listen to his journey in the video. We have so many cases like Alex. Some are even worse. This is why I do this and this is why I have to keep doing this.

Alhamdulillah, I was invited to talk about Longevity: elongating the telomeres through exosomes at UPM for the Associate School on Cerebral Organoids Model for Ageing Neurobiology Research Symposium.

It was a very engaging and refreshing event to talk and discuss about the science again. It has been a long time I’ve not given a technical talk.

I was fortunate enough to be part of Dr Razin Jaafar’s Fat Fasting Tour at SACC. I learnt a lot and get to meet many new interesting people.

It’s always a pleasure to collaborate with Dr Razin and his team.
