4th Feb 2025 of this Year CNY 2025 of the Wood Snake, 7th day is "Renri" (人日) which translates to "Humans':Day" and is considered "everyone's birthday" according to Chinese tradition, as it marks the day when the mythical goddess Nüwa created humankind; essentially, signifying the "birthday of humanity.".
On this "Humanity Day" celebration, Lions Club KL Elite brought Siri Jayanti Metta Care Centre elders and volunteers to TGV Cinema, 1 Utama to watch "Money Game" about an international fraud syndicates plot to scam many elderly folks of their hard earning savings.

It was an educational comedy action packed movie for many to be aware of how organized scamming operate.
After the movie, the elders were treated to lunch at Little Loong Loong 小龍龍 (1 Utama), an authentic Hong Kong Style restaurant, where the pinnacle of Hong Kong's culinary treasures meets exceptional value located at 1 Utama E Street, LG101A, Lebuh Bandar Utama, Bandar Utama,

这标志着该组织过去和现在的成员多年来为拥有和管理一家养老中心所做的努力。
该中心早就应该建了. 我们的精神顾问首席牧师萨拉南卡拉长老不懈地激励和指导 KL 委员会拥有和管理一所为脆弱和不幸的老人提供庇护所，这一目标终于实现了。
这将是慈爱护理中心能够提供更好、更健康的生活庇护所的新开始. 与我们所有慷慨的捐助者和志愿者一起.

New MCC Ground Breaking Ceremony at 11 am on 22.11.2024
An auspicious date and time (112211) to officially start work to construct and build a new 3 storey modern elderly care home built with a technological safe passenger lift for easy access to bedroom on the upper floors.
This to mark the many years of the organization's past and present members' efforts to own and manage an elderly care centre.
The centre has been long overdue. Our Spiritual Adviser, Chief Rev. B Siri Saranankara Nayaka Maha Thera relentless motivation and guidance to Pertubuhan Kebajikan Siri Jayanti, KL committee to own and manage a shelther home for the fragile and less fortunate elder has finally come true.
It will be a new beginning for Metta Care Centre to be able to provide a better and healthier living shelter home. Together with all our generous donors and volunteers.
As the Buddha taught:
"With loving-kindness, we benefit all living beings day and night, and our merits are immeasurable." (AN 8.1)

Siri Jayanti Metta Care Centre
This morning was a surprised visit from my 58 years ago Chow Kit Wet Market.friends, The egg stall boss now who I used to share market life together at Chow Kit came with fellow market stall owners who I knew when I was 10 years old and have not seen them for more than 50 years brought food provisions and pork for the centre. The elders were given Ang Pau, and the group donated RM 3000 for our new Metta Care Centre Building Fund.
The group Secretary Mr Lee Chick King invited Wangsa Maju PKR, officer Mr Lai Chen Heng to come over to our centre to meet the elders.
It was a joyful morning for our elders and members of the Chow Kit Wet Market business owners.
On behalf of the elders, we are thankful and grateful for their generosity, kindness and caring services for the less fortunate ders at our centre.
