Perlis State Park, Perlis, Malaysia

The Park is situated on the longest continuous range of limestone hills in the country, called the Nakawan Range. The Nakawan Range has beautiful, heavily forested slopes, sheer cliff faces, streams and extensive cave systems.

Some of the major attractions in Perlis State Park includes the various caves such as Gua Kelam and Gua Wang Burma which is located within the 500 year-old Setul limestone formation. The Park consists of Mata Ayer Forest Reserve and Wang Mu Forest Reserve with a total area of about 5000 hectares.

The park provides the perfect setting for activities such as the Stumed-tail Macaque and plants like ginger, ferns and balsams endemic to the state are found here. Visitor can stay in hostels and chalets or camp at the designated site.

Those intending to visit are required to obtain permission from the Perlis State Park management and engage the services of a ranger or qualified guide.

By Road
From the North-South (PLUS) Highway, take the exit via Changlun and take the Changlun-Kuala Perlis highway to Kangar. From Kangar, continue on route heading towards Padang Besar - Wang Kelian. Continue your journey heading to Kaki Bukit Town and you will see Visitor Park Centre.

Tree Top Walk Sungai Sedim, Kedah, Malaysia.

The 950m-long Tree Top Walk in the Sedim River Recreation Park is the longest canopy walk in the world. The Tree Top Walk Sedim River was built within the low land of dipterocarp compartment 15 of Gunung Inas Forest Reserve.

The spectacular view you get when you stroll through the jungle canopy is the main draw for visitors from far and wide to this quiet, all-natural corner of Kedah.

Strolling high above the ground of this primeval rainforest affords visitors an unexpected and exciting perspective.

Gunung Stong State Park, Kelantan, Malaysia

Gunung Stong State Park (GSSP) is a forested area, totaling 21,950ha with several prominent mountain peaks. The area is of outstanding beauty and is home to one of the highest waterfalls in Malaysia, the seven-tiered Jelawang Waterfall.

The rugged landscape of GSSP offers many exciting adventures for anyone who loves nature and the great outdoors. GSSP not only has important eco-tourism values but also serves as a significant conservation area with rich flora and fauna diversity.

Animals such as the Asian elephant, seladang, great argus pheasant, Malayan tiger, serow and tapir are known to roam the forest in Stong. With the assistance of a qualified and knowledgeable trekking guide, your exploration of GSSP will be made more meaningful as interesting aspects about the biodiversity of the area are pointed out.

The Bogo Rock Shelter, a cave- like formation, is a suitable resting point on the way to the summit of Gunung Stong, which can be reached within four hours of trekking. Meanwhile, Gunung Ayam, the highest peak in the area at 1,504m, is an ideal spot to catch beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

A campsite is available for overnight stays. Visit the breathtaking 225 million-year- old limestone caves at Dabong that house several bat species and rare flora, including an endemic balsam.
Getting Here

By Car
From Kuala Lumpur, take the North-South Expressway heading north and exit at Kuala Kangsar.From the exit, head towards Gerik and then proceed along the East-West highway towards Jeli. At Jeli town, follow Route 66 leading to Dabong. Alternately, take the East Coast Expressway from KL towards Bentong. From there, follow Route 8 to Gua Musang, and then get on Route D29 to Dabong.

By Train
From the KL Sentral Station, the northbound express train to Kota Bharu will take you through several small settlements including Dabong. From there, youll need to cross Sungei Galas and head to Jelawang which is only 3km away.

By Boat
Take a boat at Kuala Krai to Dabong/Jelawang. The boat ride takes about an hour.

槟城国家公园 Penang National Park

槟城国家公园（Penang National Park）占地 2,562 公顷，是马来西亚面积最小的国家公园。公园的建立宣布于 2003 年，内有 46 种鸟类，如鹳嘴翠鸟、白胸苦恶鸟和大白鹭等。

马来西亚自然学会（Malaysian Nature Society）2000 年对公园的外业考察中登记了 417 种植物和 143 种动物。这片地区被列为国家公园之前当地人称之为班底阿济森林保护区（Pantai Acheh Forest Reserve）。人们也时常在公园内进行渔猎、游泳和登山等活动。

可拉竹海滩（Pantai Kerachut）的沙地广阔而洁净，绿毛龟每年 4 月到 8 月都会前来筑巢产卵，9 月到 2 月这里则是榄蠵龟的地盘。1995 年可拉竹海滩设立了海龟孵化基地，由槟榔屿渔业局、野生动物及国家公园保护司和国家林业局一道进行管理。三大部门同时负责维护公园的原生环境不受破坏。

园内可以看到多个名贵硬木树种，其中娑罗类居多，例如梅兰蒂木和芳香坡垒木。事实上，这里是槟榔屿唯一一个生长红色纸质裂皮格楠木的地方。公园的生物多样性极高，光植物就有上千种，包括五种形态迥异的海棠木。

此外，公园也是马来西亚唯一一个囊括六种生境的保护区，内有半对流湖（即水体分层，因季节而变化循环的湖泊）、湿地、红树林、泥沼、珊瑚礁和海龟产卵沙地。园内还有种类各异的猪笼草、野兰草、菌类和药草等。

公园有两个入口，一处在双溪槟榔区（Kuala Sungai Pinang），乘船即到；一处在直落巴港（Teluk Bahang），驾车可轻松抵达。从乔治城出发不到 45 分钟即是槟城国家公园。沿途将从北海岸公路先后经过丹绒道光（Tanjung Tokong）、丹绒武雅（Tanjung Bungah）、峇都丁宜（Batu Ferringhi）和直落巴港多个小镇，城乡风光穿插交替。直落巴港是公园的正门所在，游客也可乘船从双溪槟榔区乘船进入园中。公园内步道完善，标识详尽。

霹雳柏隆森林保护区 The Belum Forest Reserve

在马来西亚半岛北部的霹雳州有一个天勐莪湖（Lake Temenggor），湖泊的北端绵延着一片广袤的原始丛林，那就是柏隆森林保护区。这座森林保护区人迹罕至，面积在马来西亚半岛数一数二。其中栖息着大象、犀牛、貘、老虎等大型动物，使得柏隆更加特殊。

森林拥有极其丰富的动植物群落，并且大部分都未受人类的染指，仍是处女地。

现有多家旅行社提供特定区域的向导观光，可代理进行活动申请、安排水陆运输及包括露营在内的住宿。所以，有兴趣要前往此地的朋友们，可以在起行前与当局做出联络。

若从吉隆坡出发,先上南北大道向北前往怡保市。过怡保市后，下江沙出口站（Kuala Kangsar exit）,朝宜力（Gerik）方向走。然后上 4 号公路（route 4），即东西大道（East-West expressway）。最后抵达班丁岛（Pulau Banding），也就是探索保护区的首站。从吉隆坡出发约需五个半小时车程。与度假区管理方安排柏隆雨林的观光活动最为便利。

柔佛兴楼云冰国家公园 Endau Rompin National Park

兴楼云冰横跨柔佛州和槟城州边界，是仅次于大汉山国家公园 (Taman Negara) 的第二大国家公园。 公园占地面积约 80,000 公顷，种类丰富且奇特的动植物在此繁衍生息，兴楼河与云冰河四围环绕，公园由此而得名。 换言之，此地堪称广袤无边。

这座公园拥有品种繁多的鸟类、哺乳动物、蛙类、昆虫，以及各种奇特的兰花、草本植物、药用植物和树木。 似乎在兴楼云冰每次进行科学考察后，都会发现一个新物种！

常规的丛林跋涉能让探险者观赏到叶猴、长尾猕猴、白掌长臂猿、大象、鹿和貘，偶尔还能看到老虎和豹子。 这里有令人振奋的激流和蔚为壮观的瀑布，定能为探险爱好者与河流跋涉者带来难忘体验。

为了保护原始环境，公园仅开放有限的区域用于生态旅游。 游客必须持有柔佛国家公园公司 (Johor National Park Corporation) 的特别许可证，方可进入公园。建议衣着轻便舒适。

走南北大道，在亚依澹 (Ayer Hitam) 拐弯。 从亚依澹走居銮至三板头路（50 号干线），继续行驶 7 公里至加亨镇 (Kahang) 东部的岔路（寻找兴楼云冰国家公园的标志，有一部分隐藏在路标牌上的其他 15 个标志中）。

在此岔路口乘坐四驱车在崎岖不平的道路上行驶 56 公里，途径棕榈种植园，然后走上古老的运木材的道路与沼泽路，即可抵达公园游客登记处甘榜佩塔 (Kampung Peta)。 行程为 2 小时。

The Royal Belum State Park is located in a Gerik, Perak, (Hulu Perak Area). It is trust that a Belum-Temengor Forest Reserve is about 290,000 hectares and with some-more than 146,000 hectares of pure forest.

The Belum Rainforest is divided into dual sections: Royal Belum area, that stretches to a Thai-Malaysian limit covering 117,500 hectares of inflexible jungle and a reduce Belum mostly lonesome by Temengor Lake.
