Yesterday at the Embassy of Poland, Warsaw certainly did.

The launch of "𝘜𝘳𝘣𝘢𝘯 𝘋𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘞𝘢𝘳𝘴𝘢𝘸: 𝘖𝘯 𝘢 𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘫𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘜𝘳𝘣𝘢𝘯 𝘓𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘴𝘤𝘢𝘱𝘦𝘴 – 𝘈 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘈𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘺𝘴𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘒𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘢 𝘓𝘶𝘮𝘱𝘶𝘳" brought together experts, academics and urban enthusiasts for a fascinating discussion on how cities rebuild, reinvent themselves and balance heritage with modernity.

The event formed part of the ongoing 𝗞𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗮 𝗟𝘂𝗺𝗽𝘂𝗿 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹, which celebrates ideas, culture and the urban experience through a series of public events across the city.

We were honoured to welcome:
👨‍🎓 Prof. Marek Kozłowski (Universiti Putra Malaysia) – urban designer and lead author of the publication
👩‍🎓 Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shureen Faris (Universiti Putra Malaysia) – specialist in landscape architecture and restorative environments
👩‍🎓 Prof. Katarzyna Wagner (Director, Museum of Warsaw; University of Warsaw) – historian specialising in the history and development of Warsaw
👨‍🎓 Prof. Hubert Kowalski (Director, Museum of the University of Warsaw; University of Warsaw Muzeum Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego) – archaeologist, historian and expert on cultural heritage

Judging by the many hands raised during the lively Q&A session, the audience was not ready to let the conversation end anytime soon.

👩‍🎓🇵🇱 | Yesterday, Ambassador Krzysztof Dobrowolski met with representatives of the Institute of Microelectronics and Photonics, belonging to the Łukasiewicz Research Network, at the Embassy of Poland in Kuala Lumpur.

The meeting with the delegation headed by Ph.D., D.Sc., Eng. Anna Szerling, Deputy Director for Research, focused on opportunities for cooperation in innovation, research and new technologies, as well as strengthening links between Poland and Malaysia in the field of science and development.

Poland continues to build international partnerships that connect knowledge, technology and people.

🇲🇾🤝🇵🇱 | Yesterday, Ambassador Krzysztof Dobrowolski made a call on Datuk Prof Dr Mohd Faiz Abdullah, Executive Chairman of Institute of Strategic and International Studies (ISIS) Malaysia.

The extremely valuable meeting was a chance to discuss not only the most pressing regional and global issues, but also prospects for cooperation between ISIS Malaysia and leading Polish think tanks.

🎹 🇵🇱 | Today, Malaysian pianist Vincent Ong, Pianist — finalist of the prestigious International Chopin Piano Competition — will perform at the birthplace of Frédéric Chopin in Dom Urodzenia Fryderyka Chopina ✨

The concert season in Żelazowa Wola began last weekend, and this week – on Sunday at noon – we will hear a broadcast of a recital by Vincent Ong, winner of the 5th prize (tied) at the 19th Chopin Competition. The artist will perform the Nocturne in G minor, Op. 15 No. 3, and the 24 Preludes, Op. 28.

The Embassy of the Republic of Poland marked the 3rd May Constitution Day and Polish Armed Forces Day with a reception at the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur, bringing together partners, friends and members of the diplomatic community.

The evening featured an exclusively Polish menu, celebrating the depth and character of our culinary tradition.
Guests enjoyed dishes prepared by renowned chefs Marcin Budynek and Mariusz Olechno, joined by Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur’s Executive Chef Grzegorz Odolak..

It was a celebration not only of history and values, but also of culture expressed through taste — a reminder that cuisine remains one of the most powerful bridges between nations.

And for one evening, Kuala Lumpur carried Poland’s colours — red and white 🇵🇱
