The Malaysian Rubber Council (MRC) U.S. Office recently completed a market visit to Austin and the Central Texas “Innovation Corridor” from 21 – 23 September 2026. 📍

Texas has rapidly become a premier powerhouse for electric vehicle (EV) production, clean tech, and advanced industrial manufacturing. This visit gave our team direct, on-the-ground access to regional manufacturers, Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, and procurement leaders to discuss their current material and supply chain requirements.

With the region’s automotive and high-tech sectors scaling quickly, demand continues to climb for reliable Rubber Automotive Components (RAC) including precision seals, weatherstripping, coolant hoses, and vibration-dampening systems, as well as heavy-duty industrial gaskets and molded parts. Malaysian producers are well positioned to deliver the certified quality, compliance, and supply chain stability these industries need.

The meetings laid strong groundwork for upcoming B2B partnerships and business matching between Central Texas buyers and Malaysian rubber manufacturers. 💼🚗
