PM telah mengadakan pertemuan yang produktif dengan Presiden Myanmar, U Min Aung Hlaing. India berbesar hati kerana beliau telah memilih India sebagai destinasi lawatan luar negara pertamanya sebagai Presiden. Lebih menggembirakan lagi, beliau memulakan lawatan tersebut dari Bodh Gaya dengan restu Tuhan Buddha.

Kedua-dua pemimpin telah meneliti keseluruhan spektrum hubungan India–Myanmar. Myanmar amat penting dalam pelaksanaan dasar India iaitu *Neighbourhood First* (Kejiranan Diutamakan), *Act East* (Bertindak ke Timur) dan strategi Indo-Pasifik.

Perbincangan kedua-dua pemimpin merangkumi usaha untuk memperkukuh kerjasama dalam bidang perdagangan, unsur nadir bumi (REE), penjagaan kesihatan, kesalinghubungan, pemuliharaan warisan serta pembangunan kapasiti. Mereka juga bersetuju untuk bekerjasama rapat dalam bidang keselamatan maritim, keselamatan siber dan pelbagai bidang lain.

✦ India akan menjadi tuan rumah Forum Pembandaran BRICS ke-13 di New Delhi pada 11–12 Jun 2026.

✦ Forum Pembandaran tersebut akan diadakan dengan tema ”Cities for People: BRICS Cooperation for Inclusive and Resilient Urban Futures” (Bandar untuk Rakyat: Kerjasama BRICS bagi Masa Depan Bandar yang Inklusif dan Berdaya Tahan).

✦ Forum ini akan memberi tumpuan kepada beberapa keutamaan utama, termasuk pembangunan bandar yang inklusif, infrastruktur yang berdaya tahan terhadap perubahan iklim dan bencana, pengukuhan institusi perbandaran, serta inovasi digital untuk tadbir urus bandar yang lebih baik.

Perjanjian Perkongsian Ekonomi Komprehensif (CEPA) India–Oman mula berkuat kuasa hari ini, menandakan satu pencapaian penting dalam perkongsian ekonomi antara kedua-dua negara.

➡️ Perjanjian ini akan memperkukuh akses India ke pasaran GCC dan Timur Tengah yang lebih luas, mengukuhkan hubungan India–Oman yang telah terjalin sejak berabad-abad lamanya, serta membina momentum perdagangan dua hala yang terus berkembang dan mencecah USD 11.18 bilion pada TK 2025–26.

➡️ Dengan lebih 600,000 rakyat India menetap di Oman serta saling melengkapi dalam bidang perdagangan, CEPA dijangka meningkatkan eksport, daya saing dan kerjasama ekonomi jangka panjang antara kedua-dua negara.
