MSET can be divided into three divisions: Shipbuilding Division, Ship Repairing Division and Composite & Inflatable Division.
MSET Shipbuilding Corporation Sdn Bhd (MSET) is wholly owned by Bumiputera Company operating business in shipbuilding, ship repairing and engineering since 1953. We operates our business at 3 main yards; Pulau Kambing Yard, Pulau Duyung Yard and Gong Badak. Indeed, we are actively involved in the construction of various types, sizes of boats. Currently we also built 60 meter Offshore Support Vesse
l and up to 120 meter which located in MSET Pulau Duyong, while composite & inflatable, fiberglass at MSET Gong Badak. Apart of that, 13.5M Fast Patrol Boat is the longest of Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) construction. Meanwhile the longest boat in Composite and Inflatable category is the 11.5M Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB). Besides, we are also engage in repairing of boats and vessels up to 40 meter, which include annual slipping, refurbishment, conversion work, hull work, long refit and emergency work. Our major clients are Royal M’sian Navy, Royal M’sian Police, Royal M’sian Custom, Marine Department of Malaysia, Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency, Sarawak Shell, as well as Petronas VDP program. Meanwhile, our International clients are Government of Brunei, Nigeria and Holland. We not only involved in marine industry and yet our sisters company of MSET Engineering Corporation Sdn Bhd which located in Kerteh, Terengganu actively engages as fabricator design in Engineering Design, Procurement and Construction of Unfired Pressure Vessels for Upstream & Downstream Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Industries. MSET pledges and committed to deliver good quality products in accordance with requirement of DNV Certification ISO 9001:2008. MSET shall continue to enhance its resources through acquisition of assets, technology and manpower training in line with area of specialization.
