Salam sejahtera dari Mutiara Bunut Homestay.

Kalau ada sesiapa yang belum ke tasik Loagan Bunut semasa tasik kering, kali ini saya sajikan beberapa gambar disekitar tasik pada waktu ini. Terima kasih kepada tuan Park Warden TNLB kerana sudi berjalan kaki merentasi tasik kering untuk mengambil beberapa gambar untuk kenangan.

Tahun 2019, tasik mulai kering dalam bulan Ogos sehingga minggu pertama bulan Oktober. 4 tahun kemudian iaitu 2023, tasik gergasi ini kering lagi tetapi tidak sehebat 2019 dan sekarang (2026).

Ini lah keunikan yang terdapat di Tasik Loagan Bunut.

Greetings from Mutiara Bunut Homestay. We would like to notify all our potential visitors who had made various calls and send text messages intending to visit us in August and September that all our operations had been suspended due to the pro-long dry season.

The Lake is totally dried up now. Once the water level in the lake is safe for Boat operations, we will update our FB page here.

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience as nature is something unpreditable.

Greetings from Mutiara Bunut Homestay.

We share the experience by our visitors from Kuching, Miri and Belaga on their day trip to Mutiara Bunut Homestay on Monday 10/08/26. Due to the very low water level in the lake, we have to take an alternate boat ride from the Loagan Bunut Long house crusing through the shalow Bunan River into the lake and thereafter, walking about 700-800m from mid-lake to the homestay.

An interesting but tideous adventure as the journey is at mid-day. We left at around 3pm. Hopefully, everyone enjoyed the sceneries.

📢 IMPORTANT NOTICE TO OUR VALUED GUESTS

Dear Valued Guests,

We would like to inform everyone who has planned to visit Mutiara Bunut Homestay over the next couple of weeks that the water level at Loagan Bunut Lake has dropped significantly.

As a result, all passenger boat operations have been temporarily suspended until water levels improve. Unfortunately, this means access to the homestay by boat is currently not possible.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and greatly appreciate your understanding and patience.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will provide another update by mid-August regarding the status of boat operations and guest access.

Kenangan Indah di Mutiara Bunut Homestay

Pada hari Khamis, 4 Jun 2026, kami amat berbesar hati menerima kunjungan tetamu istimewa kami, Tuan Stanis Buandi bersama keluarga serta rombongan saudara-mara dari Miri yang diketuai oleh Encik Sidek Tengang dan Puan Roseping Wan.

Persinggahan tuan-tuan dan puan-puan untuk menikmati makan tengah hari bersama kami di Mutiara Bunut Homestay merupakan satu penghormatan yang amat kami hargai. Lebih daripada sekadar persinggahan, ia memberi peluang kepada kami untuk berkenalan, berkongsi cerita dan mengeratkan hubungan kekeluargaan.

Kami berharap semua tetamu menikmati pengalaman menaiki bot, keindahan pemandangan Tasik Loagan Bunut serta suasana damai dan alam semula jadi di sekitar homestay kami. Gelak tawa, kemesraan dan kenangan yang tercipta sepanjang kunjungan ini pasti akan sentiasa dikenang.

Greetings from Mutiara Bunut Homestay. Selamat Hari Gawai To all our Friends & Visitors who celebrate the Gawai Festival.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Mr. Kenny S K Wong and your Lovely family for visiting us over the weekend. We hoped you enjoyed your stay and the fishing trip.

It's unfortunate that it rain heavily after dinner, otherwise we could have a long chat about the Lake's myth that you might be interested in. Once again, we apologise for any short-comings.

We would like to inform our valued guests that due to the intensified dry season over the past few weeks, the once-gigantic lake around our homestay has completely dried up. What was once a breathtaking view resembling a seaside landscape, dotted with small fishing boats, has now transformed into a vast, desert-like expanse.

While this natural change offers a unique and rare sight of the lakebed, it may differ significantly from the scenery you were expecting. We appreciate your understanding and remain committed to ensuring you still have a meaningful and enjoyable stay with us.

It was a great privilege for us at Mutiara Bunut Homestay for the team to stop-over and spend meaningful time to see the existing facilities at our installation. Your presence and engagement meant so much to us and we deeply appreciate your efforts in supporting and uplifting the tourism industry.

For decades, Mutiara Bunut Homestay has proudly contributed to the growth of local tourism, preserving our culture, environment, and hospitality.
