*Sharing by Bro Richard*
(Christian this year - 45 years, early 32-33 years being Christian, just a pew warmer in church)
One of the things about serving in FGBMF, I praise the Lord that I've found the gifting the Lord has given me. Found the purpose the Lord has given.
2005 was the first year of FGBMF, that time I was in major problem. But God was working in my life, step by step.
Invite him into your life and into the office. Sunrise prayer consistently for many years .
First week Monday: 7-8am, Sunrise prayer and dedicate the first day of the week to the Lord.
We must allow the Lord to surface in our life.
Our real life and spiritual life are very connected. We must practise it, making God alive in our life, polishing us and cleaning our life.
In 2005, business was around RM 20 million, taking up the Chapter President, business was in trouble. God saw me through it faithfully. Today business is RM 200 million +
Seek His Kingdom first and the rest shall be added unto us. Ask Him to allow us to see ourselves, see beyond and etc.
The Lord has shared to me about FGBMF and the nation. The word shared at 3am in August last year was *apostle*. Our country needs apostolic ministry.
The no 1 threat to our nation is our cousins' Evangelisation and racial issues. Around the Christian circles, we are feeling the same threat.
But the Lord is moving and things are gaining momentum.
The journey begins when we take up responsibility and the gift will come with it. How well are we doing in our job that we deserve the promotion? Same with the Lord, how dedicated are we that we deserve His promotion?
God is also looking at us.
*The 5 D Principles*
- *Disciplined* in the little things, time, chairing the meeting, etc.
Be careful with our idols especially the handphone. When people come in to chapter meetings, put the phone away. When we honour God, God honours us.
- *Dedicated* to the ministry and what we are doing
- *Diligence* in the little things. Go deep into it
- *Determination* Do they have it? If you don't have it, how can you progress?
- *Discernment* Ask the Lord to grant us discernment if the person is a builder, value adding, etc.
It's the same in the spiritual realm. We pray about it, which is much better than corporate. By praying, we avoid making huge mistakes that can cause financial losses.
The 5Ds operate together very well.
*SERVE OUR LORD WITH ALL OUR HEART, ALL OUR SOUL, ALL OUR MIND BECAUSE THE LORD RIGHTLY DESERVES IT!!!!*

Last Friday, we were privileged to have brother WIlliam Kok share with us his testimony and also intersperse the testimony with wonderful examples of guitar and ukulele "Fingerstyle" playing. After graduating with an Engineering degree, brother William felt burdened in his work, and after a few years, after much prayer, he decided to go full time into guitar teaching, which was his passion. The Lord enabled him to develop his own unique "Fingerstyle" method, and he soon moved on to write guitar music books, and even started mentoring fellow guitarists like himself who aspired to teaching. With an active website selling ebooks, brother William has now also been able to reach a larger worldwide audience in several countries, even while teaching young and old and even holding workshops and classes at companies, churches and schools. Brother William also shared how he was especially able to relate to young children who shared their struggles with him. There was even an angry child who once threw the guitar at his feet but by responding with patience and love, she grew to respect him and he succeeded where so many teachers had quit. He also shared how by introducing Christian sons and using simple examples, he was able to bring Christ to pre-believers in his own creative way.
This Friday, we are privileged to have Reverend Anbu Balan share with us. Reverend Anbu was borne into a staunch Hindu family but was miraculously saved while pursuing his tertiary education at Madras university, Chennai, India. Upon completing his Masters degree in sociology, he sensed the call of God in his life and embarked on formal theological training at Hindustan Bible College. After completing his education in 1987, he functioned in various facets of the ministry as led by the Holy Spirit and was actively involved in Assemblies of God circles in India, even pioneering various outreaches and cell churches in the subcontinent.
He is currently President of International Anugraha Ministries in the heart of the city. Primarily anointed in the gifts of prophecy, healing and teaching the Word, Reverend Anbu travels widely throughout Asia, Africa and Europe, ministering the gospel of Jesus Christ. Apart from conducting crusades, seminars and services, Reverend Anby mentors pastors and Christian workers. He and his wife Daphne have two lovely children.
