In support of the Universityβs continuous digital transformation agenda, City University Library successfully conducted an In-House EPrints Training Session focused on strengthening institutional repository management skills and enhancing scholarly communication practices.
Successfully delivered by Encik Muizzudin Kaspol, the session offered participants an engaging learning experience through comprehensive system demonstrations, repository workflow exposure, and practical hands-on activities. Conducted in hybrid mode, the training brought together participants both physically at the library and virtually via Google Meet.
The initiative reflects the libraryβs ongoing commitment towards empowering staff with digital competencies, improving research visibility, and supporting sustainable academic knowledge preservation in line with evolving higher education needs.

πβ¨ 10 Minutes. A Thousand Worlds. β¨π
On 23 April 2026, Library City U proudly took part in the "Jom Membaca 10 Minit" initiative by the National Library of Malaysia β a meaningful nationwide effort encouraging everyone to pause and embrace the power of reading.
For 10 minutes, the campus slowed down as students and staff immersed themselves in books, sharing quiet moments of focus, imagination, and discovery. Beyond just reading, the program also brought people together through simple activities and the joy of exchanging favourite reads. π‘π
This initiative reminds us that building a reading culture doesnβt require hours β sometimes, all it takes is 10 minutes to ignite curiosity and inspire lifelong learning.
Hereβs to nurturing a community that reads, thinks, and grows together.
