We are pleased to share that registrations for the following ST-ECE pilot training programmes have officially closed following encouraging response from industry participants:

✅ STECE-0001/01 – Tanggungjawab Orang Kompeten Elektrik Berdasarkan Akta Bekalan Elektrik 1990 dan Peraturan-Peraturan Elektrik 1994
✅ STECE-0002/01 – Kursus Teori Pensuisan Bagi Orang Kompeten

📢 Please note: Registration remains OPEN for other ST-ECE pilot training programmes across electricity, gas and energy efficiency areas.

Puan Marlinda Mohd Rosli, Director of Economic Regulation and Consumer Policy Division, represented Suruhanjaya Tenaga as a panellist in the “Women Powering the Energy Transition: Leadership, Policy and Digital Innovation” dialogue session at The Energy Transition Conference 2026.

The session explored how regulatory frameworks, collaborative partnerships and human capital development can support a future-ready energy ecosystem, while balancing the energy trilemma of security, affordability and sustainability in Malaysia’s transition towards a cleaner energy future.

Today, at The Energy Transition Conference 2026 organised by TNB, ST CEO, Puan Siti Safinah Salleh, joined industry leaders in the dialogue session, “Fueling AI’s Hunger: Powering ASEAN’s Next Era of Growth”, to discuss the increasing energy demands of AI and data centres across the region.

From a regulatory perspective, ensuring grid readiness, system reliability and a resilient, sustainable energy ecosystem is essential to support digital growth, attract investments and advance Malaysia’s energy transition agenda forward.

As AI adoption accelerates, continued collaboration between regulators, policymakers and industry players will be key to balancing energy security, consumer affordability and investor confidence while building a future-ready energy sector.
