We had another opportunity to coach a community of refugees on fondant decoration this morning. At Home Bakers United, that's what we aim to do, empowering lives through our knowledge, skills and passion through a community of like-minded bakers.

It was yet another fun day with the eager youths from Refuge for the Refugees (RFTR) organisation as they learned from our home baker Theresa how to make cookies with icing decorations. We had yet another baking class this morning for the refugee community from Refuge For The Refugees. It's quite doable after all making French loaf and pizza at home with the simple recipe and affordable ingredients shared by our home baker Doris.

We're glad to be able to empower these teens and a mom from Refuge for the Refugees through baking. They got to learn how to make French loaf and pizza from our home baker Doris, which they can easily make at home.

It's our third baking school for the year, whipping up an exciting recipe by Chef Jim on Christmas Coffee Mocha Log Torte. Each of the participant got to learn it hands-on and had it designed in their own way.

We'll be having more classes in the new year not only for the public, but also the refugee and other communities in partnership with different organisations. So stay tuned if you're interested to volunteer or contribute to any of our initiatives to empower the communities in need.
