PUT BOOTS ON |Ohangwena Regional Council Chairperson Efraim Lebbeus has called on the Northern Regional Electricity Distributor (NORED) to "put on its boots" and actively engage with its customers by improving communication and providing timely feedback on service-related matters.
Shipindo made these remarks during the induction programme for regional and local authority councillors currently underway in Eenhana, emphasizing the importance of customer engagement, accountability, and responsive service delivery in ensuring public confidence and satisfaction.

INDUCTION PROGRAMME |NORED is currently hosting an induction programme for Regional and Local Authority Councillors from the Ohangwena and Kavango West regions.
The session has brought together Regional and local authority councillors and senior management strengthen collaboration and enhance governance in the electricity sector.
Among the key issues under discussion are strategies to ensure a stable, reliable, and uninterrupted power supply, as well as improving service delivery and sustainable energy development for the benefit of communities across the two regions.
The induction serves as an important platform for newly elected leaders to gain insight into NORED's operations, responsibilities, and future plans aimed at advancing regional development.
