Minna Sachs Visits Keetmanshoop Museum

The Keetmanshoop Museum was delighted to welcome the AMC (Achievement Motivation Club) learners from Grades 1 to 3 of Minna Sachs Primary School for an educational visit.

Accompanied by their HOD and teachers, the learners explored the museum’s exhibitions and gained valuable insights into our local history, heritage, and culture. The visit formed part of the school’s initiative to expose learners to the world beyond the classroom and provide opportunities for experiential learning.

We commend Minna Sachs Primary School for investing in the holistic development of its learners and are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to their educational journey.

Community Engagement on Water Supply Challenges

Yesterday the Mayor and administration of Keetmanshoop Municipality engaged with residents of Paradise, Gereres, and Tseiblaagte Extension 6 regarding the ongoing water supply challenges affecting these communities.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the impact of vandalism on communal water infrastructure, outline the immediate interventions implemented by Council to ensure continued access to water, and deliberate on long-term solutions aimed at restoring and safeguarding sustainable water services for all residents.

Council appreciates the constructive participation and valuable input from community members. Working together, we can protect public infrastructure and ensure reliable water access for current and future generations.

Protecting our water infrastructure is a shared responsibility. Together, we can build a stronger and more resilient community.
