Omaruru Municipality sincerely thanks Mr. Thomas Mundi, Peace Corps Volunteer, for two years of dedication and commitment to our Local Economic Development Department. He shared his knowledge and skills with great generosity, and our community is stronger for it.

As his service draws to a close, we wish him every success in his future endeavours. We also look forward to welcoming a new Peace Corps Volunteer in November 2026 to continue this important work.

Omaruru Municipality would like to sincerely thank everyone who participated in the Omaruru Clean-Up Campaign held on Saturday, 19 September 2026.

A special thank you goes to our valued partners for their generous support and active participation:

• Agra – for donating refuse bags, water and masks.
• Windpomp – for providing wors for the participants.
• FNB – for donating water and actively participating in the clean-up.
• Erongo Drum – for actively participating and assisting with the truck.

Your contributions and willingness to work alongside the community helped make the clean-up campaign a success. We greatly appreciate your commitment to keeping Omaruru clean and beautiful.
