This afternoon, 05 June 2026, the Chief Executive Officer of the Namibia Training Authority, Mr Erick Nenghwanya, together with his technical team, paid a courtesy call on the leadership of the Oshikoto Regional Council.
The purpose of the visit was to brief the Regional Government on the planned establishment of a state-owned Vocational Training Centre in Omuthiya.
Consultation, design, and procurement processes have already commenced. Construction is scheduled to begin in September 2026 and is expected to be completed within a period of 24 months.
The state-of-the-art facility is expected to serve learners from across the country and will significantly expand access to technical and vocational education and training in the region.
