Situated in the largest conservation area in Africa (the Namib-Naukluft National Park), Sossusvlei i One of Namibia's most striking landmarks.

Sosusvlei is surrounded by high red dunes and consists of a white clay salt pan that has darkened dead acacia trees in the middle, Deadvlei.
