We remember the events of 16 June 1976 and pay tribute to the brave young people who stood up for their right to equal education. The Soweto Uprising remains a powerful symbol of resilience, courage, and the fight for justice. We shall never forget the sacrifices that paved the way for equal educational opportunities, not only for South African youth, but for generations of young Africans across the continent. 💚🧡
