WELCOME TO NAMIBIA: Edelweiss safely landed at our flagship airport Hosea Kutako International Airport in Windhoek on 1 June 2026 around 19h30 with 285 passengers. The airline will operate the route between and , on Mondays and Fridays and on 15 July 2026 add a third frequency on Wednesday to meet the demand. Edelweiss deployed its state‑of‑the‑art Airbus A350‑900 on this route and the departing flight leaves tonight back to Zurich with 261 passengers.

Another Step Forward for Airport Safety! Namibia Airports Company Limited Walvis Bay International Airport is getting an upgrade with the addition of a new Rosenbauer Group fire and rescue truck. These specialised vehicles are designed to respond to aviation emergencies quickly and effectively, enhancing safety for passengers, crew, and operations.
This move also supports the airport’s ability to handle more flights and larger aircraft, strengthening Namibia’s position as a growing logistics and tourism hub.
