Just look at them 🐘❤️
Once threatened by relentless harassment and facing an uncertain future, these magnificent elephants have found peace and safety at the TimBila Nature Reserve by Naankuse.
What began as a family group of just 15 elephants has grown into a thriving herd, with new generations born into a life free from fear. From being earmarked for destruction to flourishing in a protected wilderness, their journey is a powerful reminder of what conservation can achieve.
Today, they roam freely, living the life every elephant deserves — and thanks to ongoing protection, future generations will too. 🌿✨

💙 Healthcare should never be out of reach.
At the Naankuse Lifeline Clinic, we believe that every person deserves access to quality medical care, no matter where they live. That’s why our dedicated clinic staff and volunteers regularly take healthcare beyond our clinic walls and directly into the communities that need it most.
During our latest outreach visit to the Harnas Foundation Wildlife Sanctuary, countless community members gathered to receive essential medical care, advice, and support. For many, this visit meant access to healthcare that would otherwise be difficult to reach.
Every journey, every consultation, and every helping hand is part of our commitment to ensuring that no one is left behind.
This is the heart of the Lifeline Clinic — bringing hope, care, and compassion to communities far and wide. ❤️

🦁✨ Spotted at TimBila Nature Reserve by N/a’an ku sê: the legendary Thor!
This mighty male lion is more than just a king of the wild—he’s a true conservation success story. 💚 Rescued from a life-threatening conflict situation by the N/a’an ku sê Foundation, Thor was given a second chance at life. After rehabilitation, he was released into the vast landscapes of TimBila, where he now roams freely alongside his fellow lion companions.
Today, Thor is thriving, living the peaceful and wild life he always deserved. 🌿👑
📸 A huge shoutout to the fabulous TimBila guides for capturing this incredible moment!

🎉👑 All hail the K9 King – Mufasa! 👑🎉
Born in 2020, Mufasa strutted into Marlice’s home and quickly claimed his throne in all our hearts. 🐾❤️
As one of Naankuse’s toughest K9s, Mufasa is a four-legged powerhouse who can stop a poacher in their tracks... and then immediately demand cuddles like the oversized lap dog he secretly is. 😎💪➡️🤗
He keeps our K9 unit on its toes, keeps poachers nervous, and keeps Rudie van Vuuren questioning his life choices on a regular basis. 😂🐕🦺
Feisty? Absolutely. Loveable? Without a doubt. Replaceable? Never.
Happy Birthday, Mufasa! May your treats be plentiful, your naps uninterrupted, and your zoomies legendary! 🎂🐾🎉

🌱 From Vision to Reality: The San Eco-Village is Taking Shape! 🏡
Do you remember the groundbreaking ceremony in Epukiro earlier this year? In January, a significant milestone was reached with the launch of the San Eco-Village project—a transformative initiative designed to create lasting opportunities for the San community.
Today, that vision is rapidly becoming reality. Construction is progressing at an incredible pace, with many of the 40 housing units nearing completion. Each home will provide access to clean water and electricity, helping to create safer, healthier, and more sustainable living conditions for families.
And the impact extends far beyond housing. The San Eco-Village is a holistic development project focused on long-term empowerment and self-sufficiency. Alongside the homes, the project includes agricultural initiatives, chicken farming, and an entrepreneur centre where traditional arts and crafts can be showcased, celebrated, and transformed into income-generating opportunities.
As we begin mixing the paint and preparing for the final touches, we are reminded that sustainable development is about more than buildings—it’s about creating opportunities, restoring dignity, and building a brighter future for generations to come.
Together, we are helping communities step out of the shadows and into a future filled with possibility. 💚

🌟 What a busy and rewarding day at the Naankuse Lifeline Clinic! 💙
Our amazing Lifeline Clinic volunteers teamed up with the wonderful volunteers from Harnas Foundation Wildlife Sanctuary for an afternoon full of care, kindness, and community spirit. 🙌
Together, they helped serve nutritious meals to local families (a huge thank you to Namib Mills for your continued support! 🥣❤️), tackled mountains of school uniforms made extra grubby by energetic little adventurers, and helped keep the youngsters healthy with hair washing and shaving to prevent pesky fungal scalp infections. ✨🧼✂️
A big round of applause to everyone who rolled up their sleeves and made a difference today. Your compassion and hard work are changing lives, one smile at a time! 🌍💚

🏌️♂️⛳ We were swinging for a great cause! 💚
What an incredible day at the Omeya Golf Tournament on 5 June! The Naankuse team showed up in full force, sharing the inspiring work of the Naankuse Foundation and Naankuse Eco-Tourism Collection throughout the clubhouse and across the course.
From exciting challenges at every hole to plenty of laughs along the fairways, players were kept entertained all day long. The festivities wrapped up with a mouth-watering spit braai and dinner under the stars in the beautiful Omeya riverbed. ✨🔥
A highlight of the evening was the auction, featuring unique prizes that not only delighted bidders but also helped raise valuable funds for the Naankuse Foundation. 🙌
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who participated, supported, donated, and made this event such a success. Together, we're making a difference—one swing at a time! 💚⛳
