Dear Friends, All the Aspirants of different political positions, Leaders and all Political Stakeholders of Obingwa LGA.

I hope this message finds you well, I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for the privilege to serve as a former special assistant to the former Governor of Abia State, and also to serve as a former ward 7 PDP Executives in Obingwa LGA.

Today being Saturday 2nd November 2024 is the election for all the local government chairmen and councilors in different local governments and wards, as we go out there to cast our votes, let our votes count by selecting the best and suitable candidates in the various political positions so that that dividend of democracy will be able to circular in different wards and local governments.

But if you fail to trade with caution and stop paying attention to advise of desperate sycophants and praise singers who never see wrong things in you to correct, you will end up being trampled upon by those who have made it already. The energy to think right, make good decisions to survive is right in you which is inevitable.

if you notice anyone who has been coughing for a period of 1 or 2 weeks kindly notify the President/Founder/CEO/Admin of Felix Foundation Health Care Center (FFHCC)/Felix Diagnostic Health Care Center (FDHCC) for proper diagnosis and treatment.

Early detection will play a vital role, just inform me if someone have been coughing for a period of 1 or 2 weeks, the test and treatment is free.

BREAKING NEWS:

NATIONAL ASSEMBLY GRANTS FULL AUTONOMY TO THE 774 LOCAL GOVERNMENTS OF NIGERIA AS INEC IS NOW TO CONDUCT LOCAL GOVERNMENT ELECTIONS...

"The National Assembly on Tuesday, granted full financial and administrative autonomy to all the 774 local council authorities across Nigeria by amending section 124 of the nation’s constitution.

The section provides a consequential provision for the making of the local councils, a full third tier government without undue interference from the state governments.

The ammendment was one of the 22 others approved by the House of Representatives last week and ratified by the Senate on Tuesday.

Both chambers had through a conference committee harmonised versions of the ammendments into the constitution carried out by each of them last month.

By the development, the National Assembly had ratified all the 23 clauses and sections that had been ammended by both chambers.

The newly ammended document which would be sent to States Houses of Assembly, for approval, also approved the creation of the Office of Auditor General of the Local Government as well as the State Local Government Service Commission.

The section equally deleted the State
Independent Electoral Commission (SIEC) from the constitution thereby vesting the powers to conduct council elections on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

It however, retained the immunity clause in the constitution for the President and Governors by adopting the Senate version of the ammendments on the issue and rejected the House of Representatives version which removed the immunity clause.

The National Assembly also made provisions for Independent Candidacy in future elections in Nigeria by amending sections 65 and 106 of the 1999 constitution..."

Ejima Okezuo Abia Hosted the General Meeting of Okezuo Abia Youth Wing Ward 7 Chapter Obingwa LGA Abia State on Wednesday 17th day of January 2024 at Resident of Ward 7 Coordinator Hon. David Gabriel Umuokatawom Town in Obingwa LGA Abia State.

On Wednesday 17th Day of January, 2024 the Members of Okezuo Abia Youth Wing (O.Y.W) Ward 7 Chapter Obingwa L.G.A Chapter, ably led by Hon. Gabriel David welcomed everyone present in the meeting.

Opening Prayer was said by Hon. Odinakachi Adindu by 5:15pm and the Presentation of Kola Nut was presented to the Eight (8) Communities that make up Ward 7 in Obingwa LGA Abia State.

OYW Ward 7 Next Meeting goes to Our Able Member of Okezuo Abia Youth Wing Ward 7 Chapter in the next 1 week from Today.

In the interaction between the members of Okezuo Abia Youths Wing (O.Y.W) Ward 7 Chapter Obingwa L.G.A Chapter, and the Ward 7 Coordinator Obingwa LGA, observed by the O.Y.W Media Unit, the members acclaimed the giant strides development of the ward 7 Coordinator across the Ward and encouraged him to look into empowerment and employment of unemployed youths who are graduates and skilled in different careers, which will help to mitigate the statistics of youths' ferocious and recalcitrant acts to the peace of the society, causing insecurity.

Further, Hon. Gabriel David , advised the members of O.Y.W Ward 7 Chapter Obingwa L.G.A Chapter, to engage themselves in one (1) or two (2) skills and develop the enthusiasm for their furtherance of education, to help bettertheir lives and prepare them for future. He also encouraged them to be persevered, patient, dedicated and prayerful to their strives.

In response by the Ward 7 Coordinator Okezuo Abia Youths Wing to the members of O.Y.W Obingwa L.G.A Chapter, he told them to be Steadfast in the Political Affairs.

He further said that we should be fully committed in this political race so as to actualize our dreams and aims

Finally, the Ward 7 Coordinator Okezuo Abia Youths Wing Obingwa L.G.A, Hon. David Gabriel , collectively with the Members of O.Y.W expressed their gratitudes to the Executive Governor of Abia state, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, for his intervention about the situation of unemployment and unempowerment of the youths in the state, They also prayed for Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, for God the Almighty to strengthen him the more to accomplish his good intentions for the youths of Abia state.

Hon.Engr. Chief. Chimaraoke Nwogu ( UK Based Resident) gave us a word of advice and encouragement towards attending Our Ward meeting as at when due, also encourage us to be steadfast and committed in the Political Affairs.

Finally, Hon. Engr. Chief.Chimaraoke Nwogu(NSE) and Hon.Chief Ndukaku Nwogu ( Ejima Okezuo Abia) Worthy Sons of Umuokatawom Town gave a Credible Financial Assistance to Our Ward 7 Rotational Meeting on Wednesday, We appreciate and acknowledge your Wonderful efforts in Moving O.Y.W Forward, We Pray for More Wisdom, Understanding and Long Life.

Okezuo Abia Youths Wing Ward 7 Chapter Prayed for Our Able Kinetic Capacity Promise Keeping Leader Per Excellence, Hon. Orji-Kalushua for God to Intervene in his Affairs.

In Conclusion, the Meeting Came to a close at 6:20pm and Motion for Closure was moved by Hon. Mrs. Blessing Benjamin and was seconded by Hon. Maureen Joseph
