Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru: The Best Thing That Has Happened to Ebonyi State

Leadership is best measured by impact, compassion, inclusiveness, and the ability to touch lives positively. Without doubt, the administration of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has continued to prove that governance is truly about the people.

Despite the false narratives and mere speculations being peddled by opposition elements claiming that the governor is underperforming, the visible achievements of this administration speak louder than propaganda. Across Ebonyi State, the people can clearly see and feel the impact of purposeful leadership under Governor Nwifuru.

From the very beginning of his administration, Governor Nwifuru has demonstrated uncommon commitment to human capital development through business grants, scholarships, youth empowerment, and inclusive governance. Thousands of Ebonyi youths and women have benefited from various empowerment programmes aimed at improving livelihoods and reducing poverty across the state.

His administration has also given serious attention to education through strategic public school interventions, especially the construction of modern secondary schools across all the local government areas of Ebonyi State. One of such landmark projects is the modern school built at Kpakpaji High School, Ezzama, which stands today as a symbol of progress, hope, and investment in the future of our children.

In infrastructure, the governor has continued to transform the urban road network, opening up communities and improving economic activities. His government has equally promoted fairness and equity by ensuring that previously marginalized areas are adequately represented in both elective and appointive positions.

Governor Nwifuru’s administration has also maintained peace and stability by decisively addressing communal crises before they escalate. His compassionate leadership style and human-centered approach to governance have endeared him to the people because he governs with empathy, humility, and sincerity.

Those attacking this administration cannot erase the visible evidence of development spread across the state. The truth remains that Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru is working, and Ebonyians are witnessing the dividends of good governance.

Indeed, Ebonyians have every reason to support and stand solidly behind His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for a second tenure. His leadership remains one of the best things that has ever happened to Ebonyi State.

It is on this note that I join my boss, Dist. Hon. Nworie Henry Nnajiofor JP, the Coordinator of Ezzama DC, whose leadership ingenuity has continued to transform Ezzama community positively, alongside all Ebonyians and people of goodwill, to heartily congratulate His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru on his remarkable three years in office.

As he marks this milestone of purposeful and people-oriented leadership, we pray that Almighty God grants him more wisdom, strength, sound health, and divine direction to continue delivering democratic dividends to the good people of Ebonyi State.

Indeed, the journey so far has been impactful, progressive, and inspiring. Ebonyians remain proud of his achievements and confident that the best is yet to come under his administration.

On behalf of my family, the Management Committee, the staff, and the entire good people of Ezzama Development Centre, I heartily congratulate His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Builder Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, Onwa Ndi-Ebonyi, on the occasion of his three years anniversary in office as the Executive Governor of Ebonyi State.

Your Excellency, your administration has remained impactful, people-oriented, and visionary. Within just three years, Ebonyi people have continued to witness remarkable achievements in human capital development, infrastructure, youth empowerment, education, and inclusive governance.

Ezzama community remains particularly grateful for your numerous interventions, especially the construction of the modern secondary school in Ezzama, the 2 kilometres road project in our community, the political appointments of Ezzama sons and daughters, and your unwavering support towards the emergence of an Ezzama son as the incoming Local Government Chairman of Ezza South LGA.

Through your leadership and confidence in us, we have also been empowered to continue touching the lives of our people positively at the Development Centre level.

We equally appreciate the motherly role and support of Her Excellency, Chief Mrs. Uzoamaka Mary-Maudline Ogbonna Nwifuru, whose compassion and humanitarian disposition continue to complement your administration.

We also extend our warm congratulations to Her Excellency, Chief Mrs. Patricia Obila, the Deputy Governor of Ebonyi State, for her steadfast support and contribution to the success of this administration.

The Ebonyi Women Inclusion Movement (EBOWIN) has honoured the Executive Board Chairman of Ebonyi State Secondary Education Board, Chief Mrs Lilian Nnenna Nwankwo, with the prestigious Award of Honour as “Nnedure Nke Ebonyi State” in recognition of her exceptional contributions to leadership, women inclusion, peace building, and human development across Ebonyi State.

Speaking during the event, the Coordinator of Ezzama Development Centre, Hon Chief Nworie Henry Nnajiofor JP, while addressing newsmen, described Chief Mrs Lilian Nnenna Nwankwo as “a mother per excellence, a quintessential icon, and an achiever whose impacts continue to inspire women and youths across the state.”

He further appreciated the Executive Governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, for creating an enabling environment that allows individuals to thrive in their various capacities. According to him, the prevailing peace, unity, and developmental strides witnessed across the state are clear testimonies of the Governor’s purposeful and inclusive leadership.

The event attracted notable dignitaries, including the incoming Executive Chairman of Ezza South Local Government Area, Hon Barr Chinedu Mkpuma, alongside political stakeholders, community leaders, women groups, and supporters from different parts of the state.

In her speech, Chief Mrs Lilian Nnenna Nwankwo expressed profound gratitude to the organizers of the award and dedicated the honour to God and the people of Ebonyi State. She specially thanked Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for his inclusive style of governance, particularly his commitment towards women empowerment, peace, unity, and sustainable development in the state.

She further urged all Ebonyians to continue supporting the present administration in its efforts to build a more united, peaceful, and progressive Ebonyi State for future generations.

Yesterday, alongside my dear wife, Mrs. Peace Mmesoma Nwuzor, I joined our national leader, High Chief Comr. Emmanuel Vitus Chukwu, General Manager of Aurodrone Standards, Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority of Nigeria (NCAAN), and President of Ezza Union Lagos, to celebrate my dear big brother, friend, father and mentor, Super High Chief John Ndubuisi Izekewe, CEO of John Ark Ltd and 1st Vice President of Ezza Union Lagos Branch, at his Okota residence, Lagos.

The occasion marked the tripartite birthday anniversary of his beloved wife and two sons, and it was indeed a gathering of distinguished personalities and people of substance.

Beyond the celebration, it was more like a family reunion as we shared meaningful conversations on business success and other important matters with respected leaders including Chief Peter Emeka Itumo-Alegu and my big Daddy Chief Comr, Emmanuel V. Chukwu, with the celebrant sharing ideas with me.

I was also deeply honored as High Chief Emmanuel Chukwu congratulated me on my recent academic success and wished me greater rewards ahead.

The event was fun-filled, with my best man, Mr. Chidi Nwite, serving as the Master of Ceremony in his usual energetic and humorous style. Dignitaries were numerous, including members of Ezza Union Lagos Branch and the Sons of Issachar Social Club.
