ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF REVENUE AGENTS FOR THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT COUNCIL.

In accordance with the Template for the Acceleration of Revenue Mobilisation and Administration in the Council,we are now at the stage of screening, recruiting,nominating and appointing Revenue Agents for the various revenues that the Local Government is authorized under the extant laws to collect in various locations in the LGA.

The agents would be appointed by the LGC in a collaborative exercise with the Enugu State Internal Revenue Service,and will be paid on commission basis.

Eligible candidates must be persons of high integrity and good reputation, accountability and dedication to duty.They must be able to demonstrate a minimum level of basic education and financial literacy, and must not be touts or brigands.They must be persons whose world views align with that of the present council leadership.

Appointed persons must be prepared to give basic indemnities and guarantees, and shall be given basic and adequate pre-entry training by the SA, Revenue and other tax industry experts.
