Our final sitting was bittersweet, marked by the ratification of new judicial council principal officers and the dissolution of the house.
As we bid farewell to this chapter, we're filled with gratitude for the incredible journey we've shared. Certificates were awarded to our outstanding senators, a testament to their hard work and dedication.
Though the house may be dissolved, the memories and lessons learned will stay with us forever.

The Crescendo of Youth Voice!
Our Legislative Summit was a resounding success, featuring inspiring sessions that ignited passion and sparked meaningful conversations. We were honoured to have a keynote speech by Prince Oyede Oke, legislative aid to the Deputy Senate president of Nigeria, ably represented. The session set the tone for impactful leadership, followed by a thought-provoking fireside chat with Mr. Kunle Lawal, Executive Director of the Electoral College, the session was truly one that left our senators wanting more and asking the right questios.
Our panel session brought together esteemed guests, including Prince Hadi Sani – the SSA to the Ogun state Governor on inter-ethnic affairs, also, Hon. OLUWAKOYEJO Morenikeji and Hon. Sonde-Ikokoh Iyanuoluwa, both from the national youth parliament, who shared valuable insights on youth leadership in legislation. The discussions left attendees eager to make their voices heard and be catalysts for change.
We also celebrated a milestone - SRA's 30th assembly! - with cake and merriment, as senators basked in the knowledge gained and enjoyed each other's company. We were honoured to have the Students' union matron, past leaders, and other members of the union with us.
And, a huge congratulations to the winners of the first-ever CONSTIQUEST, a Constitution-Based Quiz, presented by the Clerk - Senator Moriam A. Oguntowo, in conjunction with the Committee of Information and Resolution Monitoring.
What a day it was!

Reminiscing on the Legislative week, we take you back to THE TEJUPLAN.
We took our Sickle Cell Awareness campaign to the next level with a physical outreach initiative!
After our successful online awareness drive, we went from hall to hall, garden to garden, and class to class, meeting students and educating them about sickle cell. We shared valuable information on the importance of knowing one's genotype, how to treat people with sickle cell, and what to do in cases of sickle cell.
We were privileged to have the President of the Union join us for this event, and our senators were part of this impactful initiative. We carried banners and cardboards with inspiring inscriptions, spreading awareness and creating a more informed community. It was a truly fulfilling experience, and we're grateful to FUNAABITES for receiving us with open arms.

As we wrap up the 30th assembly, let's savour the moments that made it special!
From empowering sessions to unforgettable memories, we're grateful for the time we shared.
The empowerment program organised by the committee on welfare and business (COWAB), led by the Deputy Senate president, was a huge success, featuring inspiring sessions on politics, public speaking, and tech.
This goes to show that we're not just about articulating our own voices, but also equipping our senators with the skills to represent and empower their communities.
We were privileged to seasoned speakers who made it an event to remember.

Senate superstar of the day: Senator Oyewole Oluwakoyejo
Senator Oluwakoyejo
The one who carried the Sergeant-at-Arms role with quiet grace. As reserved as he is, you could never miss his impact.
Somehow, he balanced politics, Web3, and academics like he had a cheat code.
Thanks to him, the house was always in order — steady, calm, and focused. A true gentleman in and out of the chambers.
We see you, we appreciate you, and we’re grateful for how you showed up. Always.

Parliamentarian of the Year, and it’s no fluke!
Always cheerful, effortlessly kind, with just the right sprinkle of “you know what” to keep things interesting.
