In one of my visits to Lagos sometime ago, I was in Apapa and was stunned at the spectacle of articulated trucks lining the ljora bridge. To me, it was an unacceptable eyesore in 21st-century Nigeria. I was even made to understand that I came when things had improved.
This is highly unacceptable!
It goes to show that we rarely plan for the future. A port system originally designed for a population of fewer than 50 million people in the 1950s with less than two million cargo throughput has remained almost the same for more than 200 million population in 2022.
When a country’s population is increasing at geometric progression and port infrastructure remains static, the resultant effect is chaos. To me, that is the cause of the ljora bridge debacle and other issues.
“So many things have gone wrong with the industry, I can still remember the days of the Nigerian National Shipping Line (NNL) with its beautiful ships flying Nigeria’s flag across the globe!
Why did it die? Why do we not have a replacement for the giant of Africa? What has become of the Cabotage Vessel Financing Fund (CVFF)? Why has it not been disbursed to the beneficiaries? From my little knowledge of the sector, a lot of questions are begging for answers!
It is also my desire to see that the Customs and other regulatory agencies must be made to perform efficiently and effectively. The observed high-level corruption in the system has to be tackled to improve productivity in the ports.
Our government will look into the position of constructing a rail line from both Apapa, and Tincan Island ports to a dry port area outside Lagos where arrived goods should be domiciled for clearance in order to stop heavy trucks from causing gridlock in Lagos.
We should also look into the possibility of opening other ports such as Warri, Port Harcourt, Calabar and others in order to decongest Lagos port. In addition, I can assure you that it will no longer be business as usual under our watch.
Again, it is worthy here to make mention of effective border checks and control to stem the tide of smuggling and its related security implications. Indeed, the entry points of Nigeria shall attract the desired attention of my administration, if elected president.
My party NNPP, has its blueprint for the economy for which maritime and transport logistics are incorporated.
Support me in reviving the maritime sector in 2023.

Neglected food scarcity is leading to a devastating famine in Nigeria.
The rise in dollar price has led to the increase in foodstuff price and has a huge drawback to the country.
Dealing with an unemployment rate at 33.3%, recording an increase in dollar to naira amidst several insecurities will make many middle class citizens and millions of Nigeria to abject poverty.
This matter has to be addressed with immediate actions.
Nigeria is at the edge of collapsing and she needs urgent attention.
Nothing of such will happen under my tenure, if elected.
Support me to secure a reliable future for you and your kids.

Nigeria became this bad because our leaders failed to take citizens into consideration. Majority of projects are always in favor of elites, not the middle-class.
NNPC is a party for the people, as we will take everyone along in the process of governance because the people given their take during the electoral period, we won't only appear when we want to contest for another position but always to take the view and the condition of every state.
This development is achievable if Kwankwaso becomes the president of the Federal republic of Nigeria.
Only you, the masses, have the power to make that happen through making the right choice come 2023.
Together we can make a new Nigeria!

Democracy cannot succeed unless those who express their choice are prepared to choose wisely.
The real safeguard of democracy, therefore, is the vote. It's the most powerful instrument ever devised for breaking down injustice and destroying the terrible walls built by selfish politicians which imprison citizens.
It’s time that we started exercising the Democratic process.
We have what it takes to stop this injustice and get ourselves a good administration which will safeguard our democracy, govern with passion and capability.
The power lies in our hands, we are the people! The power belongs to us!
The time to choose wisely is here!

It saddens my heart to hear of another ASUU strike extension.
The time and future of millions of students is at stake, as a whole academic calendar is being wasted at home.
The long lingering strike has no effect on many political office holders' children, but what will be of the middle-class kids?
Failure of the federal government to reach an agreement and needs of the committee has clearly shown its lackadaisical attitude towards the educational sector.
NIgeria deserves better than this underfunded education, no growing country concerned about its human capital development will ever neglect its education.
We can get better governance where critical matters are handled with care and urgent attention if we do the needful by voting for the right individual come 2033.

Check the prices of a liter of diesel today, it will surprise you to realize that businesses, trucks and other key economic drivers are buying it between the rates of NGN750 - NGN900.
This has given an alarming increase in the prices of commodities.
Bread for instance is becoming a food of the only elite, the poor masses can no longer afford a loaf of bread today.
Inflation rate is at 19% with no any hope in sight.
We can’t fold our arms and let the APC-led government plunge us in a generational penury.
Our Naira has no value in our modern day lives.
In 2023, we have all the chances to save this country.
Let’s join hands together to support H.E. Sen. Dr. Rabiu Kwankwaso.

Empowerment, we have done it in the past.
We empowered about 1200 youth and women across the institutions we established in Kano State.
We are ready to do this in the entire country.

One of my visions and mission is to support education. After leaving office as governor, I launched the Kwankwasiyya Development Foundation (KDF). It's an initiative designed to help the people of Nigeria.
I supported many young people to further their education with continued financial assistance through the foundation.
One of the reasons I launched the foundation was simply to promote literacy and alleviate extreme poverty.
The foundation also donated cash and food items to the poor and needy, including widows, people with disabilities, and orphans, to alleviate poverty, especially among women in Nigeria.
This and many more are what are in my plans to deliver if elected as the President of Nigeria.
