Being a NONAGENARIAN with such a good body, stature and brain is a very rare privilege and a blessing from Almighty Allah. I therefore pray that Mama continue to enjoy the fruits of her labor in sound mind, good health and wellness always.

Let me use this opportunity to Congratulate his excellency, Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun - MFR and the entire Abiodun family of Iperu Remo on being blessed with such a virtuous woman as a Mother, Grand-Mother and Great GrandMother.

The Wakeelul Muslimeen of Yorubaland Edo and Delta who's also the Consultant to Ogun State Governor on Religious Matter (Islamic Affairs), Sheik Iskeel Lawal Sugar joined all Muslims in Ogun State in particular, Nigeria and beyond in general to mourn and sympathies with the family of Late Amirul Muluk (Head of Muslim Kings) in Yorubaland Edo and Delta; Oba Dr. Dhikrullah Kayode Adetona , the Ogbagba II, Awujale and Paramount Ruler of Ijebu land in his lifetime.

The monarch who lived an exemplary lifestyle, contributed immensely to Islamic propagation and development not only in Ijebu Land or Ogun State but across the length and breadth of Nigeria.

The Janazah prayer for the late monarch will be held at different locations across Ogun State and beyond later today by 4:00PM among which include;

Kabiesi residence at Ijebu Ode
Egba Eid praying ground, Lantoro, Abeokuta.

May Allah accept the soul of our father and admit him into the best garden in Paradise (Al-Janah Fridaous)

Airlifting of 1st batch of Ogun State Muslims Pilgrims from Lagos enroute Madinah earlier today .

May Allah bless the Management with a successful and hitch free Hajj Exercise.

The farewell ceremony for the 1st batch of intending pilgrims from Ogun State done at OBA's Complex , Oke Mosan Abeokuta.

The Deputy Governor of Ogun StateEngr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele represented the state Governor, His Excellency Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun - MFR .

The Consultant to the state Governor on Islamic Affairs , Sheik Iskeel Lawal Sugar , Amirul Hajj 2025 Prince Adebayo S. Apelogun , Chairman of the state Ad-hoc Committee, Sheikh Isiaq Olohungbebe and the Executive Secretary of Ogun State Muslims Pilgrims Alhaji Ajibola Taiwo was among those who enlightened the pilgrims.

About 423 Pilgrims are expected to be transported to Lagos enroute Madinah later in the day.

The Wakeelul Muslimeen of Yoruba Land Edo and Delta who's also the Consultant to Ogun State Governor on Islamic Affairs Sheikh Dr Iskeel Lawal Sugar commiserate with family, friends, political associates and all Muslims in Ogun State on the demise of AMBASSADOR ABDUR-ROHEEM OLATUNDE AYINDE OLADUNJOYE (CATO).

His death as announced by the state government earlier today came as a rude shock but sends a powerful message to all Muslim faithfuls to constantly remember Death : "The Spoiler of Enjoyment "

Alhaji Oladunjoye lived a fulfilled life, always using his name, fame and position to benefit his immediate environment and the larger community.

It's our prayer that Almighty Allah bless his soul, forgive his shortcomings and admit him into the best abode in Al-Janah.
