Closing Ceremony of one week training programme organised by Egbadotun Saraki Ilupeju Adigbe Youth Development Association,Sponsored by Abeokuta South West LCDA and Councillor Representing Ward 14, Hon.Kayode Olumide.
In attendance were, Director of Community Services ASWLCDA,Chief Imam of Saraki/Community Chairman and all other Stakeholders in Adigbe.
Where participant were given take off grant,award and certificate.
The youths were trained on various aspects like soap making,insecticides making,make over's,fishery and many more,also exhibit all the products.

ONE HONEST LEADER

How can a former Head of State who earns 300 million Naira per annum, say he has no N27.5 Million to buy a Presidential Nomination Form? A very pertinent question, I must say. And as someone who believes in knowing the truth before acting, I took my enquiry to the Nigerian Ministry of Finance and this was the response I got: Yes, it is true, All heads of states collects on the average 23 Million Naira every month, apart from General Muhammadu Buhari. He (General Buhari) objected to collecting most of the allowances, insisting they were bogus and therefore amount to corruption. He personally wrote a letter to the ministry to that effect. As a result he collects only N2.3M a month equivalent of 10% of what he is entitled to, which he believes is his legitimate earnings! Imagine how honest this man is! May God give us the wisdom to accept reality. Please let's vote wisely, we need a leader that can fight corruption. Buhari is that leader.

Investigation also has it on authority that he is the only one amongst past presidents who returns his car after a 4 year cycle for a replacement as required. Others get the new and keep the old. Share with Nigerians.

Breaking News:

National Assembly okays autonomy for local
governments, INEC to be in charge of Local
Government elections!!!

The National Assembly on Tuesday, granted full financial and administrative autonomy to all the 774 local council authorities across Nigeria by amending section 124 of the nation’s constitution.

The section provides a consequential provision for the making of the local councils, a full third tier government without undue interference from the state governments.

The ammendment was one of the 22 others approved by the House of Representatives last week and ratified by the Senate on Tuesday.

Both chambers had through a conference committee harmonised versions of the ammendments into the constitution carried out by each of them last month.

By the development, the National Assembly had ratified all the 23 clauses and sections that had been ammended by both chambers.

The newly ammended document which would be sent to States Houses of Assembly, for approval, also approved the creation of the Office of Auditor – General of the Local Government as
well as the State Local Government Service Commission.

The section equally deleted the State
Independent Electoral Commission from the constitution thereby vesting the powers to conduct council elections on the Independent National Electoral Commission.

It however, retained the immunity clause in the constitution for the President and Governors by adopting the Senate version of the ammendments on the issue and rejected the House of Representatives version which removed the immunity clause.

The National Assembly also made provisions for Independent candidacy in future elections in Nigeria by ammending sections 65 and 106 of
the 1999 constitution!!!

I am so much delighted to be part of this mission to rebuild Ogun State.
Working with his Excellency has expanded my coast and abilities to foster more for the people on the grassroots in bringing dividends of democracy to them.
