Yesterday, I stood alongside Rt. Hon Benjamin Okezie Kalu, CFR, PhD, as he formally declared his intention to return to the House of Representatives in 2027.

Yesterday, I joined members of our great party at the new secretariat for the pre-primary election meeting alongside all aspirants and stakeholders, where our own son and representative clearly stood out as the true leader of our party in Abia State.

Earlier today, I was honoured to address Corps Members at the Abia State NYSC SAED seminar on entrepreneurship and skill acquisition as key drivers of youth empowerment.

Using my personal journey as a practical example, I highlighted the importance of acquiring skills alongside formal education. Despite early financial challenges that forced me out of school, learning a trade as an electrician enabled me to fund my education and rebuild my path.

My message was simple, skill acquisition is essential for self-reliance and economic stability.

With vision, determination, and hard work, every young person can create opportunities and achieve success.

It is with a heavy heart that I paid a condolence visit to the family of Hon. Okechukwu D**e (Eriwe Echeta) following the painful loss of his beloved wife.

This is indeed a deeply sorrowful moment. Words may not fully capture the weight of this loss, but I stand in solidarity with the family in this time of grief. We pray that the Almighty God grants them the strength, comfort, and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss, and that He receives her gentle soul into eternal rest.

May her life and memories continue to be a blessing to all who knew her.

May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
