World leaders gathered at UN Headquarters in New York on Monday for a high-level meeting on Palestine and the two-State solution.

“Statehood for the Palestinians is a right, not a reward,” said United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres.

Calling on world leaders to do all they can to help bring peace for the people of Israel and Palestine, he stressed:

“We must recommit ourselves to the Two-State solution before it is too late. A solution in which two independent, contiguous, democratic, viable and sovereign States are mutually recognized and fully integrated into the international community.”

📣We are glad to announce that this year’s admission campaign has started. Nigerian nationals and Russian compatriots with permanent residence in Nigeria wishing to study in Russia on the free of charge basis can now apply for secondary vocational education, undergraduate, specialist, master, postgraduate, residency and assistantship internship programs.

❗️Online applications will be accepted at Education in Russia from 1st September 2025.

Applicants can indicate up to six universities where they would like to pursue an academic major of their preference. Students regardless of their degree level and field of study can choose from more than 350 participating universities. Some programs may require additional admission examinations organised by universities. International students with insufficient knowledge of the Russian language have an opportunity to complete one-year preparatory course before they begin their chosen program.
