It will create 3,000 jobs for youths and women, providing them with training in silviculture, beekeeping, and sustainable fishing. Additionally, 1,000 hectares of degraded land will be restored, enhancing Nigeria's forest cover and ecosystem resilience. This effort reflects a strong commitment to environmental sustainability and economic growth, ensuring a thriving future for both nature and communities.

This activity has been threatening our forest cover in many part of the country especially in Northern Nigeria.

We must take the necessary steps and actions to stop deforestation to avert the damning consequences of desertification, erosion, flooding and other environmental challenges.
