The reason why Peter Obi may never become President in Nigeria is because of how Nigerians disrespect SIMPLE, HUMBLE AND ACCESSIBLE LEADERS.
Some Nigerians even believe that Peter Obi is poor - a man that holds almost 700 Million Shares in Fidelity Bank. A man with the most sophisticated Wealth Structure - too sophisticated that his biggest scandal was hiding wealth as exposed by the Pandora files.
Have you ever heard about Gabriella Investments Limited (later renamed PMGG Investments Limited) which was registered in the British Virgin Islands - an island that contributed so much to the man I am today? What about the Gabriella Settlement Ltd?
Do you know that Obi is so wealthy that it is alleged that he hired Access International from Monaco to hide his wealth. This was to ensure that his service to Nigeria does not affect his wealth.

Obi may not show you private jets like Tony Elumelu but remember that Obi was one of the first Nigerians to own Fintech companies in Africa. When he says he’s a trader, you think he was trading Egusi. He was also trading currencies - what later became FOREX trading but his was big and corporate level.

Let’s not talk about his Wealth Management Company in Switzerland - Rhone Trust.

Elites hid such wealth structuring from Nigerians but I’ve personally used my platform to democratise such knowledge. Before Obi ever talked about his Black Card, I posted mine in 2019. I talked about the Black card and why Nigerian banks are not being fair to Nigerians who could get more from banking. I freely share information about wealth structuring and when I talk about Nigerian security, you people think you can attack me.
You want me to always criticise President Tinubu just because I didn’t support his election even when I know deep in my heart, that Tinubu LISTENS and implements suggestions. He may not be perfect. He may have his own weaknesses which I do not agree with I won’t demonise everything he does just to be in your good records. Just today, Peter Obi praised the State Police bill. Just today. You think Peter Obi and Tinubu are enemies until you discover that their sons could be close friends behind the scenes.
Poor Nigerians must evolve.
Stop disrespecting people because you don’t understand them.
You can never understand certain class of people - you don’t have their exposure, education and training.
What you call wealth to them is what they laugh at. They see your big mansions as waste. They see your cars and private jets as waste. They are growing wealth structural and exactly how civilised systems work. They have time to pursue passion projects. They mix with you but you think they are not sophisticated enough. This is why Peter Obi may never be president - Nigerians love him too much. To be President in Nigeria, the people should hate you a little. The moment you are someone they love, see finish don enter be that.

My name is Charles Awuzie and I’m not here to be loved but to impact.
